In short
SN Dot-Walk Columns has no account, no telemetry, no analytics, no advertising or tracking, and no Cajun Craft or developer server. No ServiceNow data is sent to the developer or third parties.
Where it runs
Only on ServiceNow pages (*.service-now.com and *.servicenowservices.com). It adds a control to the Personalize List Columns dialog and labels dot-walked columns in list headers.
What it communicates with
Only the ServiceNow instance already open in your browser, using your existing authenticated HTTPS session. To show field names and labels, it reads field definitions (labels, types, and which table a reference points to) from that instance. This information is used inside the page and is not stored or sent anywhere else. Each request is addressed to that instance's own verified origin (https:// on *.service-now.com or *.servicenowservices.com); the extension does not follow redirects and makes no request at all if it cannot establish which instance the page belongs to. The session token the instance requires on such requests is read from the page for each request, is sent only to that origin, and is not persisted by the extension.
What it stores
The extension stores two display preferences using the browser's extension sync storage. Your browser may synchronize those preferences across signed-in browsers according to your browser sync settings. They contain no ServiceNow record data, field metadata, credentials, or authentication tokens. The two preferences are contextHeaders (whether dot-walked column headers show their context, e.g. "Caller › Manager › Email", or just "Email") and showWithSnUtils (whether to show the control alongside a similar third-party extension). Both are simple on/off values. Nothing else is stored. Removing the extension removes them.
What it does not do
It does not read ticket data for its own use, does not run analytics, telemetry, advertising, or tracking, does not load remote code, and does not contact Cajun Craft Software or anyone else. The only thing that leaves your browser other than requests to your ServiceNow instance is the browser's own synchronization of the two preferences above, if you have browser sync turned on.
It does not bypass or extend ServiceNow permissions. Columns are added through ServiceNow's own Personalize List Columns dialog and saved by the platform as your personal list preference; you see only the fields and values your ServiceNow role already lets you read, and your instance must allow you to personalize list columns.
